I've been pretty quiet since the holidays, huh? Been missing your free entertainment, kurttrue.com fans?
Well, your free ride is just about over, people. That's right! Kurt's been writing for publication!
Well, more accurately I've been writing for "The Slush Pile." That's how magazine editors refer to unsolicited manuscripts. I've sent two stories out in the past month, and I have one more just about ready to go, a 2000-word story. Spent one day writing it and one day agonizing over minute details.
"Funnier!" I kept telling myself. "I've got to make it funnier!"
Don't worry. There'll still be lots of free material on kurttrue.com. But when you my name in the periodical section at your local book seller, you better pony up.
Otherwise, I'm going to stop being funny and just use this website for pictures of my ceramic shoe collection.
