See the King Tut exhibit is at the LA County Art Museum until November 15th, and I've really been wanting to go see it, but every date I suggested for a King Tut excursion seemed to be inconvenient for one reason or another.

Life after Jeffrey
Sun, 09 Oct 2005: Jeffrey moved last weekend. Well, I guess you could say he moved. Kind of depends on what you mean by "move."

If by "move" you mean "forsake the comfort of Kurt & Tony's spare bedroom for a drafty in-law unit in an overcrowded, noisy, tumbledown neighborhood in south Berkeley," well, yeah, he moved.

Hollabackgirl!
Fri, 30 Sep 2005: The house down the street from us in El Cerrito is up for sale again.

Tony and Jeffrey and I scoped the place out a couple months ago during the open house. What a dump! Yard full o' weeds. Illegal addition that completely enclosed the chimney. You know the part of your chimney that's supposed to be outside? That part was inside. And the chimney was sort of crumbling, so there's a little pile of rubble inside the illegal addition.
