Got my Bay to Breakers packet in the mail this weekend.
I'm determined to make the top 10,000 this year. Jeffrey and I have vowed to get up early and get a spot way in front so we don't get caught behind the walkers and mobile tiki bars.
They sent me this new fangled timing chip that I'm supposed to lace it up in my shoe somehow.
Supposedly it's some souvenir timing chip, and the sponsor is going to come out with a new chip each year for the next five years, each one with a different design. And that's because this is the 95th Bay to Breakers, and the idea is to have a new design each year until the 100th Bay to Breakers.
Of course, every Bay to Breakers has its souvenirs. I mean, I think I still have my sun hat and bikini top from the year I dressed up as Hawaiian Fun Barbie.
