Spring forward

Most people have problems adjusting to Daylight Savings Time.

Not me. I love to get up early. I had me and Tony to 8am mass on Sunday with time to spare.

Then I went out back started getting the ground ready for planting. Mostly I just hoed and raked up all the oxalis that was sprouting in the mulch.

Then I started some seedlings, baked a batch of muffins, read a book, watched the first half of "The Wonderful Horrible Life of Leni Riefenstahl," did some laundry and applied repeated doses of hairball remedy to a largely uncooperative cat.

You put a little effort into it, you can really make that extra hour of daylight work for you.

Oh. And on Monday morning I went to the gym and learned how to use a new butt machine.
