Tuesday night boxing

I used to try to leave the tree up until New Year's, but this year I just couldn't do it.

I mean, Holy Crap, I've been listening to Christmas music since the first week in November. Remind me never to go to a shopping mall between Halloween and whenever it is they stop playing "The Little Drummer Boy" in the shopping malls.

So this year, we're observing Boxing Day at the Pink House. I mulched the tree. I put my battery-operated Santa up in the closet. And that other Santa, the expensive one that Tony's mom gave us. And all the reindeer and stockings and ornaments and elf hats and mugs and novelty toothpicks and everything else. Lord, seems like there's more of it every year!

But I put all that crap away. It was a tight squeeze, but I made it all fit.

What a great feeling! I'm done with Christmas. Done! It's over!

Oh crap. I just remembered the angels and the sno-ball glitter lights in the bathroom.
