Sacramento

Well, it's back to the State Archives in Sacramento today. I've been researching prison records.

It's such a nice facility up there. Just beautiful.

Me and Tony were up there on Monday. Let me tell you something, after trudging around various courthouses, trying to dig up 70-year-old case records, the State Archives are like… well, it's like you've been bumping along on a plank road across the Mojave Desert, and all of a sudden you come to Highway 15, and you say "Whoa! It's paved! And look! There's a Denny's!"

The only problem is it's just a block from the State Capitol, so you get the crazies. Me and Tony were gonna go for a walk around the arboretum there downtown, and see the koi pond and everything, but you couldn't get past the American Taliban.
